"On the day of the funeral Claire got up to conduct the service, and all I can say is,

it was beautiful, simply beautiful.  She talked about my wife in such a way, with such passion that at the wake afterwards, her family asked me how Claire and my wife had met.

How had they become friends.  I had to explain they weren't friends they had never met. 

She made us laugh, she made us cry, but above all, she made us think.  People donated to a charity simply because Claire brought awareness through her eulogy of what my wife suffered with. The service was about life, love, family and friends. And on that day, for those few moments, Claire became part of our family.

And I for one, will miss her."

I would highly recommend Claire Townsend for any funeral.
She was very tentative to details regarding my mother's funeral, special attention to detail, whether we would want curtains open or closed, she drew stories from us all, making sure that all relevant people were mentioned, she put our stories together and emailed the eulogy so we could Prof read before the day.
She added a few poems that she felt my mother would like.
She made us all feel very comforted as she read.

We even received a very lovely booklet at the end of the service. With many thanks from the wheeler family.
