A wedding ceremony is a celebration of your commitment to each other. No two individuals are the same.  While an element of tradition might be welcomed, there are so many aspects of your big day that can and should be tailored. You need to reflect on the love story that brought the two of you together.

Some people may have always dreamed of the big "white" wedding in church but this is not true for everyone.  Other individuals may have dreamed of saying "I do" in their back garden, a field, a beach...a special place to them.  This is where a celebrant is able to help.  In the UK to legally "tie the knot" it is still law it has to be performed by a registrar or clergy member (we are campaigning for change). Many couples choose a registered venue to enable this. This is a traditional service though, one like everyone else has, and is not open to adaption. However, it is possible that the couple can obtain a marriage certificate separately quite simply for a small fee and if they do then the world is their oyster!  I can advise how you may do this.

We can then work together to join you in your bespoke wedding at a location of your choice (whether licensed or not). I will help you every step of the way to construct your vows or promises and deliver a fitting individual service.  I can suggest elements of ceremonies that you may not have considered.  I can also advise of mini rituals which could be incorporated or indeed invented.

I also travel abroad to enable couples to have an English-speaking celebrant.  This means we can work together on the ceremony here before we travel for the wedding!  It means your wedding can be held anywhere within reason. (Permissions may need to be granted & extra fees apply) .

For those who have maybe reached milestone anniversaries, it is the perfect time to renew their vows and commitment. Again, I can work with you at your chosen venue to make it a magical day with a ceremony to remember!
